We are a small hobby breeder located just a bit southeast of Chicago, Illinois, in the small country town of Hebron, Indiana. We have been breeding German Shepherds for over 30 years! Being content with keeping a low profile all those many years. Our puppies and dogs always sold without the aid of the internet. But, times have changed, and so have we.
We have changed in more ways than one. Our dogs are housed in a modern heated facility that we designed. The dogs are allowed to exercise daily in an indoor arena bedded with recycled rubber pellets. This helps with keeping the dogs free from insects and the elements. While we applaud breeders that keep their dogs in their homes, a home setting is not ideal when there are several dogs kept indoors 24/7. It can be unhealthy not only for the dogs, but their human caretakers as well.

Regretfully, after 35 years of breeding quality German Shepherds, the decision has been made to semi retire. Many of our quality breeding females have been offered up for sale. Visit "Our Ladies" page and see if any one of our girls being offered might prompt you to buy a true champion. Perhaps not in title, but in simply being a wonderful dog. We will be holding on to a few very special members of our GS family, and it is quite possible that there may be a litter or two in the distant future. After breeding German Shepherds for over 30 years, we were fortunate to take up a close friendship with someone we consider to be an expert on the German Shepherd and the top lines in Germany. After traveling to Germany and visiting the top trainers, breeders and handlers, we have added some very impressive bloodlines to our breeding program. These bloodlines are from the top VA lines available in Germany today. We are proud to name drop here. Names like, Quattro, Boomer Vom Polarstern, Nino Von Tonje, Vegas, Ober Von Bad Boll, Ronaldo Vom Zellergrund, Quenn, Larus Von Batu and Lennox Von Regina Pacis, just to name a few. You will see these top names in the pedigree of your puppy, not just on a website. This was an expensive undertaking for us. But one we feel will provide the discerning German Shepherd buyer with a top quality puppy unequaled in many of the bloodlines available in the American Bred German Shepherd market now.
No, these are not bottom of the barrel examples of the breed. They are all top VA rated. But knowing the breed as long as we have, we were in awe of these spectacular animals. They embody all the highly desired traits of a well bred German Shepherd Dog. Temperament, deep rich pigment, drive and loyalty, just to name a few. There is no comparison to what we were accustomed to breeding over the past three decades. It was an easy choice to desire to offer the best to our prospective owners. We have made it our mission to provide the best over the past 30 years, but now we have kicked it up a notch! Knowing that our prospective owners will know that they will have bragging rights when they realize the pride in owning a top quality German Shepherd Dog. We back every puppy with a two part health guarantee. We insist that every puppy receive a veterinary health examination within three days of purchase. When the puppy receives a clean bill of health, then, and only then, does the "Lifetime Genetic Defect Guarantee" get put in place. Only after receiving a veterinary health exam can we put this guarantee in place. Of course, this is all covered in writing in our Purchase Agreement that is signed by us and the buyer at the time of purchase. This is an unprescedented type of guarantee, that is virtually unheard of in any breed, or offered by any breeder offering puppies for placement, that we know of. That is how certain we are that the dogs we have obtained posess spectacular genetics, and in turn, pass them down to their progeny.
It is because of the high standards that are in place by German officials for the German Shepherd Dog. In order for a dog to be allowed to breed, he/she must first attain a rating of KKl1. This rating is a rigorous series of training in different categories. This is not an easy task for dog and handler. Each series must be completed within a certain time frame. If the dog does not qualify, his or her right to breed is not allowed. Strict records are kept of each dog, and only the best obtain titles. A titled dog is one of the best Germany has to offer. And these efforts are an expensive undertaking for the breeder, handler, and trainer. But, many, many times, their efforts produce some of the most superior German Shepherds walking the earth today. Dedication and love of the breed crosses many boarders and oceans. That is why the German Shepherd Dog is one of the all time favorite breeds in the world.
We will do what ever it takes to make sure you are completely satisfied with your German Shepherd. We do not make promises we do not intend to keep, just for the sake of selling a puppy. Word of mouth, and repeat buyers are the best form of flattery there is to us. While we are aware that "you can not please all the people all the time", we beg to differ. We choose to make a difference by "trying to please all of the people all of the time". And again, in over 30 years of breeding German Shepherds, we are proud of our history.
